Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in the Frappe Framework / ERPNext, preferably with strong exposure to Payroll applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting payroll-related modules and business workflows.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and customize applications using Python and Frappe Framework / ERPNext.
2. Work on Payroll and HRMS modules, including salary structures, salary slips, payroll processing, employee master data, attendance, leave, deductions, and reimbursements.
3. Customize DocTypes, workflows, reports, forms, validations, and business logic in Frappe.
4. Develop server-side functionality using Python and client-side customizations using JavaScript.
5. Build and maintain REST APIs and third-party integrations.
6. Work with MariaDB/MySQL for database queries, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
7. Understand payroll business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
8. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.
9. Perform testing, debugging, code reviews, and deployment support.
10. Coordinate with HR/Payroll, functional teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
11. Maintain technical documentation for customizations and integrations.

Required Skills

1. Strong programming experience in Python.
2. Hands-on experience with Frappe Framework and/or ERPNext.
3. Good understanding of Payroll / HRMS processes.
4. Experience in Frappe DocTypes, Hooks, Workflows, Reports, Server Scripts, Client Scripts, and Permissions.
5. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jinja, REST APIs, and JSON.
6. Experience with MariaDB/MySQL.
7. Working knowledge of Git/version control.
8. Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

1. ERPNext HR/Payroll implementation or customization experience.
2. Knowledge of Indian payroll concepts such as PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, LOP, Bonus, Gratuity, and statutory deductions.
3. Experience integrating payroll applications with attendance, HRMS, finance, or third-party systems.
4. Experience in Frappe/ERPNext deployment and production support will be an advantage.
