Role Overview :
We are looking for a reinsurance professional with experience in Treaty Claims, particularly Excess of Loss (XOL) and Quota Share (QS). The role involves claims document triage, PAS setup and maintenance, and stakeholder coordination to ensure accurate and timely processing. The candidate should have a sound understanding of reinsurance claims workflows, including FNOL, notices of loss, cash calls, claims bordereaux, and reserving-related activities. They will be expected to apply operational judgement, identify discrepancies or exceptions, and work closely with the relevant stakeholders to resolve queries, obtain clarifications, and facilitate appropriate review and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
· Review and triage FNOLs, notices of loss, loss advices, cash calls, claims bordereaux, and reserve updates.
· Check documents for completeness, capture key claim information, and follow up on missing details.
· Set up and maintain claims records and transactions in the Policy Administration System (PAS) - SICS
· Support the processing and tracking of XOL and QS claims, cash calls, paid losses, and reserve movements.
· Identify discrepancies and exceptions, collaborating with claims, underwriting, and technical accounting stakeholders to resolve queries.
· Maintain accurate system records, trackers, and audit trails, and follow up on pending items.
Required Skills and Experience :
· 3–6 years of experience in reinsurance operations, claims processing, or reinsurance administration.
· Working knowledge of XOL and QS treaties, cash calls, FNOL, and reserving documentation.
· Experience with PAS setup, transaction processing, or claims system updates.
· Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and operational judgement.
· Good Excel skills and stakeholder coordination abilities
