Job Description
The Python Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices-based applications. The candidate should possess strong programming fundamentals, hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and expertise in relational and NoSQL databases. The role requires working closely with product, engineering, and business teams to design scalable architectures, implement best coding practices, and ensure high application performance, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications and backend services.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Develop microservices-based applications using modern architectural patterns.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Implement asynchronous programming techniques to improve application performance.
- Develop event-driven and message-based solutions using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with frontend teams for seamless API integration.
- Utilize caching solutions such as Redis or Memcached to improve application efficiency.
- Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS for deployment and automation.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices.
Profile Description
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 5-8.5 years of experience in Python application development.
- Strong expertise in Python programming with knowledge of advanced concepts such as decorators, generators, multithreading, multiprocessing, and asynchronous programming.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, and/or Django frameworks.
- Experience developing REST APIs, backend services, and microservices architectures.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB databases.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
- Familiarity with Redis, Memcached, and caching strategies.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security implementations.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React, or Vue.js is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in BFSI, Financial Services, FinTech, Lending, or Collateral Management domains will be an added advantage.
