Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, techno-functional Product Manager with deep expertise in enterprise-level Source-to-Pay (S2P) solution design and deployment. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex procurement workflows and cutting-edge software engineering, leading AI-driven module development right from concept to launch. This role requires an "AI-first" visionary who possesses hands-on experience building agentic procurement solutions, a thorough understanding of market-leading S2P suites, and the agile problem-solving skills needed to navigate the ambiguity of building nascent, next-generation procurement technology.
Job Description
- End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Own the product strategy, roadmap execution, and lifecycle management of enterprise S2P modules from ideation, wireframing, and POC through to commercial launch and adoption.
- Technical Specification Ownership: Translate ambiguous business requirements and customer pain points into high-quality Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and detailed user stories that Business Analysts and Engineering squads can seamlessly execute.
- AI & Agentic Innovation: Design and deploy AI-first capabilities within the procurement suite, specifically driving the implementation of Agentic AI workflows and advanced machine learning models to automate spend management and sourcing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with tech teams, engineers, UX/UI designers, and business analysts to translate complex business requirements into scalable, production-ready features.
- Market Intelligence & Benchmarking: Maintain a deep understanding of market-leading procurement tools (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Zycus) to ensure our in-house solutions remain highly competitive and differentiated.
- Agile Governance & Tooling: Manage features, sprints, and product documentation utilizing standard collaborative toolkits including Jira, Azure DevOps, Miro, and advanced wireframing software.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between technical development squads and corporate leadership, effectively managing expectations, gathering multi-industry feedback, and delivering robust product demos.
- Continuous Learning: Actively track emerging procurement technology trends by regularly participating in industry webinars, global tech events, and peer product demonstrations.
- Personal Efficiency Optimization: Embed an "AI-first" workflow into daily operations, utilizing advanced generative tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) to accelerate documentation, market research, and feature scoping.
Profile Description
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Information Science preferred). A Master’s degree / MBA is highly preferred.
- Preferred Background: Experience working within an established software product company or a specialized technology consulting practice where you have directly collaborated with engineering squads to build procurement applications.
- Experience: 8–12 years of relevant experience in technology product management or technical consulting focused on S2P, ERP, or AI-driven supply chain solutions.
- Core Attributes: Possesses a natural problem-solving mindset, a high tolerance for ambiguity, an agile approach to pivoting when data dictates, and an active commitment to leveraging AI tools for operational efficiency.
- Techno-Functional Mastery: Deep knowledge of end-to-end direct and indirect procurement workflows combined with a strong technical grasp of enterprise software architecture.
- AI / ML Procurement Application: Demonstrated understanding of GenAI, Agentic AI, LLMs, and predictive analytics specifically applied to automated sourcing, contract lifecycle management (CLM), or spend analytics.
- Proof of Concept Execution: Proven track record of successfully building and testing at least one functional Proof of Concept (POC) leveraging an Agentic AI solution in the procurement space.
- Agile Framework & Technical Tooling: Proficient in operating within rapid, ambiguous, and evolving product development cycles using Jira, DevOps, and collaborative wireframing spaces. Possesses deep practical experience leading and facilitating/participating in core Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) while effectively collaborating across key Scrum roles to intervene and expedite prioritization of tasks/backlogs.
- Enterprise Product Management Fundamentals: Strong grounding in product strategy, monetization, scaling, metrics tracking, and managing the unique complexities of large-scale B2B enterprise software applications.
- Cross-Industry Perspectives: Ability to abstract product requirements that cater to diverse industry verticals, successfully balancing the unique nuances of both direct manufacturing spend and indirect corporate spend scenarios.
- Exceptional Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to confidently negotiate roadmaps and align priorities across multidisciplinary global teams.
