Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Talent Acquisition leader to drive large-scale hiring and build a sustainable talent pipeline across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing high-volume recruitment, lateral hiring, and leadership-level stakeholder engagement, particularly focused on frontline sales professionals, field executives, and talent pools across Tier 2, Tier 3 cities, and rural regions. This role is critical in shaping the organization’s hiring strategy, building employer branding, and implementing innovative recruitment practices.
Job Description
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute end-to-end recruitment strategy for volume hiring, scale-ups, and lateral hiring across functions.
- Leverage both traditional (job portals, agencies, campus hiring) and non-traditional / innovative sourcing channels (social media, referral programs, gig networks, talent communities) to attract top talent.
- Partner with leadership to understand future workforce requirements and build proactive talent pipelines.
Team Management & Leadership Engagement
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, ensuring delivery of hiring targets with strong operational excellence.
- Engage with business leadership teams to align on manpower planning, hiring priorities, and workforce projections.
Employer Branding & Candidate Engagement
- Drive employer branding initiatives by maximizing visibility across professional platforms, job portals, social media, and industry forums.
- Plan and participate in campus drives, job fairs, and talent contests to strengthen the employer brand in target geographies.
Process Excellence & Technology Adoption
- Continuously evaluate and implement tools, systems, and technology platforms that enhance hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
- Track recruitment metrics, analyze trends, and provide insights for strategic workforce planning.
Talent Landscape & Pipeline Development
- Map, assess, and build a strong talent landscape for frontline, mid-level, and leadership hiring requirements.
- Establish long-term talent building programs in collaboration with functional leaders.
Profile Description
- Experience: 12–16 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 8 years in a managerial role with proven team-handling responsibilities.
- Industry Exposure: Prior experience in Retail, FMCG, FMCD, NBFC, or Telecom industries with exposure to both volume hiring (frontline/field roles) and lateral hiring (mid to senior-level roles).
- Expertise: Strong track record in hiring frontline sales executives and field executives, using both conventional and innovative sourcing strategies.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to work with business heads and leadership teams to shape hiring strategies and workforce planning.
- Innovation: Demonstrated experience in implementing modern sourcing techniques, digital hiring tools, and employer branding initiatives.
- Geographic Expertise: Hands-on hiring experience in Tier 2, Tier 3 cities, and rural talent markets is essential.
- Qualities: Strategic thinker, result-driven, excellent stakeholder management, strong analytical mindset, and people leadership skills.
