Job Summary
Looking for a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of multiple technical programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, combined with proven experience managing large, distributed teams, stakeholder relationships, budgeting, and delivery governance.
Job Description
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects or programs with technical complexity.
- Drive project planning, estimation, resource forecasting, and risk management across workstreams.
- Own and track budgets, burn rates, and cost control measures in collaboration with finance and leadership.
- Establish and run cadence calls, governance meetings, and stakeholder updates with CxO-level executives.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Ensure high-quality technical delivery by guiding teams through design reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering practices
- Track progress using tools like JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar, and report through dashboards and health scorecards.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers — and drive resolution.
- Foster team engagement, performance, and culture in both onsite and offshore models.
Profile Description
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
- 15+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years in a delivery manager role.
- Hands-on background in software development, and architecture.
- Proven experience managing teams of 15+ engineers/testers, preferably across geographies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, project financials, and resource forecasting.
- Strong stakeholder management, with experience presenting to senior executives and business sponsors.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications like PMP.
- Experience in Microsoft stack (.NET, Web API, Azure)
- Experience in delivering cloud-native or microservices-based projects.
- Exposure to BFSI, Logistics or enterprise product domains.
- Proficiency in project reporting tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc
