Job Summary
The Practice Lead – Oracle EBS & Fusion Cloud is responsible for the end-to-end growth, profitability, and delivery excellence of the Oracle ERP practice. This role owns practice strategy, P&L, capability building, and go-to-market execution while providing strong presales, solution leadership, and thought leadership. The Practice Lead will define the long-term roadmap, scale the team, ensure high-quality program delivery, and act as a senior Oracle ERP advisor to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Job Description
Practice Strategy & P&L Ownership
- Define and execute the multi-year strategy for Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud
- Own practice P&L including revenue, margins, utilization, and growth targets
- Identify and prioritize Oracle ERP offerings and target geographies, with focus on the retail industry
Business Development & GTM Support
- Partner with Sales and Account teams to shape and close Oracle ERP opportunities
- Build differentiated GTM offerings such as migration accelerators, industry templates, AMS/managed services, and transformation blueprints
- Participate in key client discussions and executive briefings as the senior Oracle ERP SME
- Build and manage strategic alliances with Oracle and ecosystem partners
Delivery Excellence & Governance
- Establish delivery frameworks, methodologies, templates, and best practices for Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud programs
- Provide governance and oversight for large, complex Oracle programs
- Ensure consistent standards across architecture, design, configuration, integration, testing, and cutover
- Sponsor continuous improvement and quality initiatives across the practice
Practice Building & Talent Management
- Build and scale a high-performing Oracle ERP team across functional, technical, and leadership roles
- Own workforce planning including hiring strategy, pyramid structure, location mix, succession planning, and bench optimization
- Design and drive competency development through certifications, learning journeys, bootcamps, and mentoring
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer-centric delivery
Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Create and promote POVs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and case studies
- Lead innovation initiatives around EBS-to-Fusion Cloud migration accelerators, integrations, and industry-specific solutions
- Represent the practice at industry events, Oracle forums, and webinars
Profile Description
- Senior Oracle ERP leader with 15+ years of experience across Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud
- Deep functional and technical expertise combined with strong business and leadership acumen
- Proven track record of leading large-scale Oracle transformation programs, including greenfield implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and EBS-to-Fusion migrations
- Hands-on experience across core Oracle modules such as Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, Projects, and HR
- Prior experience in roles such as Practice Lead, Portfolio Lead, or Service Line Head with P&L ownership
- Demonstrated capability in growing revenue, scaling teams, and building delivery and consulting capabilities
- Strong understanding of Oracle ERP architecture and integrations, including APIs, SOA/Integration Cloud, middleware, and ETL
- Experience working with surrounding enterprise systems such as CRM, eCommerce, POS, WMS, BI/Analytics, and IAM
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including C-level client exposure
- Strong commercial acumen and business-oriented mindset
- Proven ability to deliver complex, multi-country Oracle programs on time and within budget
- Experience in establishing delivery governance, risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement frameworks
