Job Summary
The Senior Specialist – Payroll Operations is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end payroll processes with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role ensures adherence to statutory regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in payroll operations.
Job Description
- Payroll Processing:
- Execute monthly payroll cycles for assigned regions/entities.
- Validate inputs including attendance, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate data flow.
- Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure payroll compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and support internal and external audits related to payroll.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for audit readiness.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate payroll reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Provide insights and recommendations for payroll cost optimization.
- System & Process Improvements:
- Support payroll system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process enhancements.
- Participate in UAT and implementation of new payroll tools or modules.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
Profile Summary
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a multi-country or large-scale setup.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll analytics.
- Having experience in SuccessFactors and SAP is an added advantage
