Job Summary
The Executive is responsible for preparation, issuance and amendments of business contracts for counterparties involved in commodity trades. In addition, the Executive is also responsible for supporting Officers in processing & issue resolution.
Job Description
- Monitor Daily Position report and Business confirmation filed in system for daily commodity trades
- Gather inputs from traders, execution ,legal and entry team on terms & conditions required as part of the business contract
- Prepare business contracts (long form contracts) for counterparties (buyers and sellers) as per the daily trades executed
- Prepare contract addendums for amendments in trade details
- Ensure the business contracts are complete and accurate
- Submit business contracts and addendums to trading team for review & approval
- Print and send signed contracts and addendums to counterparties
- Follow-up with counterparties for returning signed copy of contract and addendum
- Update Contract issuance & addendum log on daily basis
Additional responsibilities:
- Reconciliation of trades and error reporting
- Resolve contracts related queries within defined timelines
- Review and support Officers in preparation, issuance & amendment of business contracts
- Provide reports and run queries to assist Finance Team in period end closing process
- Identify ideas for process improvement utilizing industry leading practices
- Handle exceptions generated, perform root cause analysis to resolve current issues and act proactively to avert potential issues in future
- Provide all information, documents and reports for audit. Post the audit; take steps as per corrective action plan drafted by the Team Leader.

Profile Summary
Essential:
- 5-9 years of work experience in a similar role
- Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred
- Experience in creation and amendment of business contracts
- Minimum Education Qualification – Graduation
- Good knowledge of regulatory, statutory and legal terms and conditions
- Ability to provide high quality level of customer service in contract preparation, issuance & amendments
- Ability to work independently, efficiently and deliver high quality output under time pressure
- Independent and meticulous with figures
- Strong written & oral communications skills in English. Knowledge of Asia languages added advantage.
- Strong problem solving & organization skills
- Experience in managing people and processes through a sustained period of change
- Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
